Travel to Wales' Capital Cardiff in style and witness first hand some truly spectacular scenery from the comfort of our vintage MkI and MkII carriages. Outbound, after picking up from our designated stations, we are routed on the ´Welsh Marches Line´ which cuts through the unspoilt borderlands of England and Wales with its big river valleys and tumbling streams. Our return is via the equally impressive ´Heart of Wales´ Line. This route is recognised as one of the most impressive rail lines in the UK and it is no wonder why. Breath-taking views of ancient forests, mountains and vistas are to be enjoyed as our special charter train makes its way back through the borderlands and home to where we came from.

CARDIFF: Cardiff has plenty of ways of killing a couple of hours, with lots of places to eat, drink and shop within a short walk of the station plus the possibility you might just about have time to be able to visit one of the attractions such as the castle, while our train is serviced prior to the journey north.

Return between Cardiff and Shrewsbury is via the often equally scenic (but more direct) Welsh Marches line.

PREMIER DINING CLASS: Includes an at seat silver service of full English Breakfast in the morning, a selection of pastries with coffee mid journey and a four course meal on the return journey all freshly prepared by our skilled chefs on board the train.

FIRST CLASS: First Class passengers will be served A selection of Tulip Muffins, Freshly brewed coffee and fine teas on the outward journdy and a savoury refreshment box followed by cake of the day and Freshly brewed coffee and fine teas on the return journey.

CHILDREN UNDER 5 can be brought on the train free of charge only if not taking up a seat and sharing seats with accompanying adults.

REFRESHMENTS: A buffet counter service of snacks, hot and cold drinks, and alcoholic beverages is available to all our standard and first class passengers throughout the day.

You are also welcome to bring your own refreshments or indeed a tasty picnic to enjoy as the countryside passes by!

First Class and Premier Dining passengers can book a private table for a supplement of £20.00 per person.
