The North Wales Coast Express

Departed Saturday 1st May 2010 - Future dates to be confirmed

Departing Cleethorpes early Saturday morning (approx 0600-0630) we travel across the country to a choice of destinations.

You can leave the train at Chester to enjoy the attractions of this historic walled city with its Roman remain, museums and beautiful setting on the River Dee. Alternatively you may prefer to stay on board for a stunning run along the Welsh coast to the Victorian resort of Llandudno with its long promenade and picturesque setting. Ride the train up the Great Orrne or simply soak up the atmosphere of Wales' premier seaside resort. The lengthening spring evenings mean we can enjoy the scenery on both the outward and return journeys.

We expect to break for around four hours in Llandudno or should you choose to leave the train in Chester you will have approx six hours to enjoy the sights in this attractive city.

Whichever destination you choose you will find that our train has a choice of standard, first class and dining coached, with all seats at tables. First and standard class passengers will be able to purchase teas, coffee and light refreshments from the buffet whilst those passengers travelling dining will be served breakfast and elevenses on the outward journey with a four course dinner being served on the return.
