Spring is a great time to visit the French capital city, hopefully warm but not too hot making sightseeing and river trips all the more enjoyable, especially with the long hours of daylight making eating alfresco even more relaxing. Travelling by East Coast service train to London and onward with Eurostar to Paris we arrive mid afternoon and just a short walk across the road to our hotel means sightseeing can begin almost straight away.
The Terminus Nord Hotel is ideally located just across the road from the Eurostar terminal. This impressive hotel is well appointed with 236 soundproofed, ensuite rooms. The hotel has a smart bar and we include a full buffet breakfast. The immediate area has a wide choice of restaurants and the nearest Metro Station is just outside the hotel entrance. However should you prefer to walk, the Opera District and Sacre Coeur are within easy reach and the Seine just a little further but quite walkable. If you prefer to be taken around Paris an open top tour bus company operates from a bus stop just by the side of the hotel with regular departures for hop on hop off tours to all the major attractions.
We depart approx. Hull 0700, Doncaster 0750, Peterborough 0900 arriving Paris around 1450 local time. We depart Paris approx. 1500 on the Monday arriving Doncaster around 1900 and Hull around 2000.
