The North Wales Coast Express | Chester - Conway or Holyhead

Departs – Saturday 19th April 2014 from Bridlington, Driffield, Beverley, Cottingham, Brough and Selby.

Join us for a memorable day travelling on board our direct train from coast to coast across the breadth of the country with a choice of destinations available. Departing Bridlington around 0600 and picking up as detailed above we make our way across the Pennines with some dramatic upland scenery to be enjoyed before dropping down to the west and the wonderful city of Chester with its Roman beginnings. If you choose to leave the train here you will have over six hours to enjoy the many attractions of this historic city which include the almost complete walls, the Rows shopping area with its half timbered buildings, the River Dee, the many museums and, of course, Chester Zoo if you wish to make your way a little further afield.

North Wales Coast Express

Stay on board the train and continue along the Welsh Coast, with its stunning sea and mountain views, to the quaint seaside resort of Conwy with its magnificent castle, bustling harbour and narrow medieval streets. We should break here for around four hours.

Should you wish you can stay on board all the way through to Holyhead where, after enjoying the views across the Menai Straights and on to Anglesey we have a short break of around one to two hours before returning to Bridlington. We expect to be back into Bridlington at around 2230.
