Operated by West Coast Railways on behalf of the Lune Rivers Trust, this Annual special steam train, formerly known as The Lune Habitat, begins its trip at Carnforth.

This year the trip is running to Chester, departing from Carnforth, Wennington and Bentham. We expect the train will depart Carnforth around 0700 and anticipate arriving back around 2040.

This day has always proved to be a terrific family day out. Join us again this September.

A buffet is supplied with hot drinks and snacks available to all passengers throughout the journey. For a special occasion why not travel Premier Dining. This will include a full English breakfast on the outward journey and a four course dinner on the return.

Final timing details will be posted on this page as soon as they are available. Once you have booked you will be given a booking reference, your tickets and confirmed timings will then be sent to you 7 days before travel. Early booking is advisable as this train has been oversubscribed in previous years.
