Join us for this rare opportunity for a visit to the ancient city of Chester. Our Pullman style diesel hauled train departs from Carlisle and picks up at local stations en route.

The train will be formed to include Pullman style carriages to ensure the utmost in elegance and comfort. Be it a day out or Christmas shopping this tour will be the ideal way to celebrate the forthcoming festive season.

For Dining passengers Bucks Fizz will be served and a full English breakfast followed by elevenses with tea & coffee. On the return from Chester passengers will be served Champagne & Canapés and a delicious four course Christmas dinner, also a ½ bottle of wine and a glass of Port or Brandy, all to their reserved Premier class seat.

A vegetarian option is available however this must be requested at the time of booking.

First Class passengers will be served a Danish pastry with tea & coffee and on the return journey Afternoon tea.

A buffet car is available for standard and first class passengers who may, of course, prefer to bring their own refreshments.

Departure from Carlisle will be around 0700 with a departure from Chester around 1600, confirmed timings will be sent out by post along with tickets approximately one week prior to travel.
