A Steamy Day Out in York
Saturday 29th November 2008
This special Steam Train will take us from Carnforth to York. The train will continue to Scarborough for passengers preferring this option.
We hope to have three / four hours free time in York with it’s wealth of attractions including The National Railway Museum (which is now easily accessed via the new footpath to York Station), museums and galleries, York Minster, the Shambles and a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars.
Passengers booking Premier Dining will be served Full English Breakfast and a four course evening meal to their reserved seat.
Non dining first and standard class passengers have access to the buffet car to purchase teas, coffees and light refreshments.
All children will receive a gift from Santa during the journey!
