Departing York at 07.23 am the train will call at Leeds and Skipton before starting the famous ascent of the Midland main line at Settle to its summit amid the wilds of Blea Moor. The picturesque descent through the Eden valley takes you to Carlisle where over four hours will be available to explore the city. There will also be a passenger stop at Appleby.
A First Class Dining service is available providing a delicious ‘brunch’ on the morning train and four course dinner with full silver service on the return.
First and Standard Class tickets are also available.
