Operated by West Coast Railways on behalf of the Lune Rivers Trust, this special steam train, formerly known as The Lune Habitat, departs Preston early on Saturday morning. Calling at Lancaster, Carnforth, Wennington and Bentham the train then heads east towards Leeds, Harrogate and York through the scenic Yorkshire countryside before arriving in to Scarborough where there will be plenty of time to enjoy a stroll beside the sea walls, do some shopping, admire the beautiful Peasholm Park, take the children to the beach or simply while away the time in any of the many restaurants or coffee shops in this lovely seaside town.

This day will be a terrific family day out. There will be a buffet with hot drinks and snacks available to all passengers throughout the journey. But, for a special occasion, why not enjoy silver service dining? Full English breakfast is served on the outward journey and a four course dinner with wine is served on the return. Final timing details will be posted on this page as soon as they are available but to avoid disappointment we advise you to call to book your tickets as soon as possible. This train has been oversubscribed in previous years.
