Edinburgh, Stirling or Perth

A choice of destinations are available on our tour from the Lincolnshire coast. Choose Edinburgh and you should have four to five hours free time to enjoy the attractions of Scotland's beautiful capital city. Visit the castle, walk the Royal Mile, or take in the modern shops and delightful gardens on Princess Street. Stay on board to Stirling and a shorter break of around three hours will give you time to stroll around the bustling town centre and perhaps take a walk up to the castle which dominates this historic town.


Make the full journey through to Perth, our final destination and enjoy the sweeping views from the train into the Tay Valley as we approach the station.

We expect to break in Perth for around one or two hours before heading for home. Whichever destination you choose your journey takes you along the East Coast Main Line with its splendid cliff-top views around Alnmouth and Berwick upon Tweed. The light spring evenings give us the benefit of these fine views on the return as well as the outward journey..
