Every effort will be made to use an actual steam engine for this journey. However West Coast Railways also reserves the right to use alternative diesel engines when necessary during the season. The alternative engines will be displayed on the loco & cariages pages.

There are a number of possible routes available calling at a number of stations in West Yorkshire going to either York or Scarborough. There is also a York to York loop in the morning and evening.

Family Discounts are available: A family travelling with a minimum of 2 adults and 2 Children (child under 16) receives one child ticket FOC.

Some seats are available to 'Pay on the Day'. However, these operate on a first come first served basis and cannot be guaranteed or pre-booked. These seats can be purchased on the day from the guard at your chosen station.

Fares are subject to a minimum £2.50 booking fee.
