" I went to a position that was almost undiscovered as a location for working towards Mallaig after someone told me about it in the Grog and Gruel. 62005 rounds the curve at Arnabell Viaduct. The position is about a mile before the climb to Beasdale but this viaduct is hidden away and quite innaccesable so was really pleased that it all worked out and the only one here too. 25.10.12."

"Panorama of 4 photos stitched from the same location on Monday 22.10 crossing Glenfinnan viaduct and showing all the mist hanging the whole way down loch Eilside."

"The K1 departing Glenfinnan below the mist which went back all the way towards Fort William covering the whole of Loch Eilside and Ben Nevis, visible to the top right of the picture hanging out of the mist. This is the best shot I've taken in the 25 years of going up there and have never experienced mist coming so far up and beyond Glenfinnan so late in the morning, it really was an amazing spectacle. I just made it up here in time as it was leaving and the mist was rolling in and out so nearly lost visibility at one point.
20 mins later it had all gone.
24.10.12."
